The subunits of the central units are also referred as controls units. The banking of the plane is controlled by ailerons. The control units are all connected to a pilot control rod commonly known as the control stick.

The push of the same control stick down will do the opposite. The the plane will bank by moving the aircraft ailerons. The movement of the control stick on the right side moves ailerons up and bank the aircraft on the right, and the action of the control stick on the left moves the ailerons down causing the plane to bank on the left.
